Precision CNC Laser Cutting Up to 5′ x 10′
At the center of the shop is a Mitsubishi 4kW CNC laser with a 5-foot by 10-foot cutting bed. It cuts carbon steel up to 3/4 inch thick, stainless steel up to 1/2 inch, and aluminum up to 3/8 inch, holding a precision of plus or minus .005 inch. That combination of size and accuracy means large brackets, gussets, base plates, and full panel layouts can be nested and cut from a single sheet, which reduces both material waste and the number of secondary operations a part needs before it reaches assembly.

A 140-Ton Amada Press Brake for 10-Foot Forming
Cutting a flat blank is only half the job. Elite Welding & Fabrication runs an Amada CNC press brake rated at 140 tons with a 10-foot forming length, capable of bending material up to 1/2 inch depending on the length of the bend. Long enclosure panels, channel sections, structural angles, and formed housings can be produced in-house rather than farmed out to a second vendor, which is often where lead times quietly stretch by a week or more.
Forming in the same shop that cuts and welds the part also means the operators can adjust bend allowances and tooling in real time when a design tests the limits of the material.
CNC Shearing and Plasma Cutting for Faster Turnarounds
Not every job calls for laser time. The shop’s CNC shear handles mild steel up to 1/4 inch thick across a full 10-foot length, producing clean, repeatable blanks quickly and economically for straightforward rectangular work. Alongside it, a CNC plasma table processes 4-foot by 8-foot sheets, cutting carbon steel up to 3/4 inch and both stainless steel and aluminum up to 1/2 inch.
Having several cutting processes available lets the team match the method to the part instead of forcing every job through the same machine. Thick, heavy structural pieces go to plasma. Detailed, tight-tolerance components go to the laser. Simple flat stock goes to the shear. The customer sees the result as a better price and a faster delivery date.
